Cranberry-Apple Compote

The inspiration for this is nothing less than the little square of cranberry yumminess in a Swanson Turkey TV dinner! When there would be that one odd day a year when Mom just wanted to take the day off of cooking, a Swanson turkey tv dinner was it. It was all fairly blah, but that little corner of cranberry goodness that you always hoped there'd be a little more of! Our rendition starts with copious ammounts fresh cranberries, honeycrisp apples, blueberries, sugar, cinnamon and other spices cooked down and then topped with a crispy crumble and baked. Yum would be an understatement!
